Health & safety
Safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of our staff at work is of paramount importance and we strive to provide a safe working environment.
We also have qualified first aider operatives, trained to manage an event in an unexpected incident.
Managing environmental impact
We are committed to systematically manage our environmental impact at each stage of the project. Wherever possible we will use suppliers that have ISO 14001 certification. This certification offers proof that the company uses green methods for its Quality Management Systems and that the supplier is actively working to lower waste reduction and improve resource efficiency.
Cutting waste is a really important strategy for cutting carbon emissions. Over-ordering is one of the biggest generators of construction waste, so reducing the amount of excess materials we buy cuts our waste. The key here is to have really accurate estimates of the materials we need and avoid over-ordering.
